Tempest in a Teapot

Ho hum. Well its the weekend at last. Somehow I survived the week. It seemed to sort of just slide by me. I think that’s perhaps because I didn’t do much. I sat at home and read or watched TV.

Oh and I’ve done some crossword puzzles. I enjoy those tremendously. Not the hard ones, mind you; but the simpler ones. For instance, I can almost always do the entire New York Times crossword (reprinted in our DMN) Mondays thru Wednesdays. They get progressively harder – and of course Sunday is the worst. But I can always do the commuter puzzle. They aren’t too hard really once you get the hang of it. There are certain words that are often used in puzzles, but not in everyday speech. I could come up with some examples if I tried hard enough, but right now my brain feels a little foggy.

I’m sitting in my room where I can see the afternoon sunlight filtering in through my windows – it’s lovely and peaceful. My walls are such a nice smooth creamy color. ahh. I just wish I had someone here to enjoy it with me.
