Tempest in a Teapot

We all know the mess Katrina has left behind will take ages to repair. And millions are being raised by the Red Cross and other organizations. But please don’t forget the animals. The Houston SPCA has taken in over 260 extra animals from New Orleans and is in desperate need of donations. If you are in the Houston area, please consider taking time to donate some of the items they have listed on their main page, or perhaps send them a few dollars. Just skip lunch and send them $10, if you can’t spare more. I’m sure every penny is needed right now.
