Family Visit
Well, I would like to say the visit with my parents was a raging success. sigh. Unfortunately, they were both SO sick from their trip to India, I doubt they enjoyed any of the time here. (if I had ever considered a trip to India, they certainly put me off it. ugh. I’m just hoping J and I do ok in Morocco in May!)
Which is a shame, because I love seeing my parents and miss them terribly! *I* had fun, of course, but I wasn’t sick. Things we did – a little shopping in nearby Maastricht, a day in Brussels with mom after we put dad on a plane. I particularly enjoyed the Royal Art Museum – this picture really caught me. Thursday brought a trip up to Haarlem to see Corie Ten Boom’s house and then down to Delft to check out pottery. CTB’s house and the Royal Delft factory were definite highlights for me!
