Things I did in London.
.spent a day at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, better known as Kew Gardens. They are amazingly lovely.
.took the Highlights tour at the British Museum. I have a particular fondness for the mummies. Mom and I also took tea at a table overlooking the famous reading room there. (mom had this scone that could have fed 4 people, I swear.)
.did a quick run through of the National Gallery
.toured Westminster Abbey
.saw 2 musicals: Billy Elliot and Guys & Dolls
.saw Dame Judi Dench play the lead in Hay Fever. She was magnificent.
.sat so close to the stage for Blue Men Group that we had to wear plastic ponchos!
