Weekend Recap
The weekend was nice – good weather with more reasonable temps. We had a few friends over Saturday night for drinks. It got chilly after dark so J was able to build us a nice fire in our ‘fire pit’. People enjoyed it so much they didn’t end up leaving until around 1am. Sophie was a terrible little begger the whole evening – at least until she wore herself out. She put herself to bed around 11pm, but would come out periodically to make sure she didn’t miss anything. (Or at least to stare balefully at us hoping we’d tone it down so she could get some sleep) Needless to say, she was the hit of the party.
This week should be fairly quiet – J flies a couple of days, I work my couple of days and then it will be the weekend. The pirates movie has come out over here so J and I have a date to go see it next week. 
I know it’s not as good as the first, but hey, it’s pirates. Is there anything better for a summer movie??

I wouldn’t say that “PotC:DMC” isn’t a good movie – but be prepared for the fact that, essentially, this is only the first half of a longer movie, to be concluded in part 3. But it’s quite entertaining.

Umm, more importantly it’s Johnny Depp in eye liner – yum!
(and we saw it this past weekend… story was hard to track since it’s been a while since I saw the first but enjoyable)
