Tempest in a Teapot

And we’re back. We had a fabulous week on the Costa del Sol in Spain…even if we didn’t do half the things I’d planned. It was just so darn wonderful to do nothing but lie in the sun that we couldn’t tear ourselves away. Who needs to see the Alhambra, really, when you’ve just been to Morocco?? So, instead of sightseeing, we shopped a bit and sunned a lot. Couldn’t have been a better or more relaxing vacation.

And now for the bad news: I came home to discover that Sophie had managed to get in a fight while we were away. And seeing as how the labrador outweighed her by around 40 pounds, she lost. She has a pretty bad bite that is healing, but I’m worried about one of her ears AND she’s limping again. SIGH. Next time we go somewhere, I think I’m going to have to kennel her just to keep her safe.
