Tempest in a Teapot

Had a nice quiet weekend. We didn’t do much because next Sunday we’re going to Paris AGAIN. This time for a whole week, though. Pretty exciting! Excuse me while I SQUEEEE as buenabuena would say. Big agenda items we haven’t done yet: Versailles, Giverny and Chartres Cathedral. Plus more time in the Louvre and the Orsay! It will be a good week. We’re meeting J’s parents there.

Saturday evening we walked over to the next village for a barbque with friends. It was really fun, but marked the second time in two weeks that I drank entirely too much. What is wrong with me?! I haven’t consumed this much wine in years. Anyhow, I am definitely cutting that out. I’m waaay too old for this kind of thing. Hear me, self? Cut. it. out. You’re a grown up now, for pete’s sake.
