I’ve started a post three different times and just seem to get sidetracked before I finish. I’ll try to actually complete this one. We had a great visit on Monday with Christine and Mike. They were on the final night of their German Odyssey and it was great to have an evening to visit together. We watched Casanova, which was a fun flick in a Shakespearean-farce kind of way. Their Jason deemed it “the boringest movie ever,” but I didn’t think it was that bad.
I’ve just discovered that one of the books I just love – The Dark is Rising by Susan Cooper – is being made into a movie! The trailer looked great – hopefully they won’t have screwed up the book too much.

Ah, we’ll ignore the great feedback of a 15 year old. I noticed he stayed around and watched most of it – or maybe he was just mesmerized by the box with the pretty lights that had a language he could understand coming out of it!
We had such a great time getting to visit with you – it was the perfect “cap” for our trip. Can’t wait to see you guys again soon – and call the Vonage line any time!
