Happy Thanksgiving!
As always, I have so very much to be thankful for! Take some time today to think about what YOU are thankful for, ok? Here’s my Lucci Three:
1. This assignment.
I moved here to Germany with a lot of trepidation. Due to all sorts of things, I really wasn’t sure I should be moving so far away from my family and friends when J & I first got married. But the USAF didn’t exactly ask me, so off we came. I am now very thankful we did! It’s been a wonderful time – we’ve traveled SO much and seen so many things. I feel truly blessed to have had this experience.
2. My family: J, Sophie, mom, dad, Erica and Kristen.
How many husbands do you know who let their wives run off to Italy & Greece for 10 days? Yeah, J’s pretty darn great. He’s a good provider and a loving person. He even puts up with Sophie! I should mention here that I am exceedingly grateful Sophie isn’t dead yet. Please God, I’d really like a couple more years with her. I’m thankful also for my great parents and siblings. Can’t wait to see them all at Christmas!
3. Friends.
I have some incredible friends. (they know who they are) I couldn’t have made it here without them. They know all about me and still accept me unreservedly. That is an amazing blessing!
