Pet Peeve.
Here’s my rant: What IS it with women who are all WE’re pregnant?? Last evening I had a women say “we fell pregnant” then “we’re prganant again” to me. (incidentally, she’s 7 months. it’s OBVIOUS she’s pregnant) I just wanted to lean over and say what’s with the 3rd person?! I’m not trying to hate on the pregnant lady, but there is no WE in pregnancy. Either YOU are or HE is.
And I’m guessing he isn’t.

Perhaps “we’ve conceived” because that’s a two person job. Pregnancy and birthing are most definitely a solo act.

GAH! Lance and I have discussed this very thing multiple times…especially when it’s one of his male co-workers who says “We’re pregnant.”
Come on! “We’re expecting”…sure! But last time I checked, only women were capable of being pregnant…unless we’re discussing sea horses.

Oh, I *HATE* it when people say “WE are pregnant”!!! Especially when a guy says it. Until he is actually pregnant himself, he does not get to say those words. “We are expecting a baby” is fine. “We are pregnant”? NO. SHE is pregnant. You just helped make her that way! LOL!
