Tempest in a Teapot

Yesterday, J & I went with some friends out to Waterloo, Belgium. It’s only around 1.5 hours from here, so it made for a nice day out. We were able to tour the battlefield from the Battle of Waterloo, the site of Napoleon’s final defeat in June 1815. And we climbed all 226 steps to the top of the Lion monument – it’s in honor of the Duke of Wellington who commanded the allies who fought against the French.
