Weekend.
Good weekend – J took me out for a nice dinner Friday night. We hadn’t been to Dolly Dimples since my birthday in April (!) so we enjoyed it. Saturday we grocery shopped – I can’t tell you how excited I will be to NEVER EVER shop at Schinnen again – and in the evening I went to a little Mary Kay party at a friend’s house. We ladies had a great time. It’s too bad we have to buy the product in euros over here, everything is SO much more expensive. Oh well, I can stock up when I move back next spring. Sunday was spent being lazy…I have to tell you, my new favorite show comes on over here Sunday afternoons. Man vs Wild. LOOOOOVE Bear Grylls. He just cheerfully throws himself into the worst possible situations and then seems to really enjoy it. Highly entertaining hour of television if you haven’t tuned in yet.

Ahhhh yes! Bear Grylls …. mmmmmmmmmm ….. Not only is he brave/smart/strong/courageous/gorgeous, he’s actually a decent fellow in real life. My husband and I got addicted to the show last year, and were so happy for the new season to start. Fun stuff!

And to that, I say AMEN! I was even going to take it further and say that I would NEVER EVER shop at AAFES or the commissary again, until I saw the ones at McChord.
