Paris & moving update
Next up: girl’s weekend in Paris – whee! Stephanie, Gwen & I are up to our old tricks, headed out of town to see the world. It’s our last hurrah all together as Stephanie & I are both headed back stateside in February. Gwen will be here in Germany another 2 years and Stephanie is moving to Georgia next month.
That’s the sucky part about military life, leaving all your good friends. On the up side, at least I have friends all over the place to visit! We’ll just have really expensive phone bills, I’m sure.
The move is going OK…the BMW sails from Bremerhaven, Germany tomorrow, our furniture’s been packed off to Antwerp – and hopefully is on a boat! – and we’re living with really tasteful army-issue stuff. (yeah, right. The couch is so ugly even the dog won’t sit on it.) Speaking of the dog, Sophie seems to be coping alright with all the changes; my challenge with her next week is figuring out the German system to get her health certificate so she can travel. It’s a little confusing, because it’s different than in the US, but my vet will help. From what I understand, I actually have to take Soph to the city hall area in Heinsberg and have someone examine her. Hope she behaves!

The one perk of Vonage? Free phone calls! (Speaking of which, I should call you sometime… I’m such a bad friend!)
Can’t believe your time over there is almost up!
