Quick Notes
So what’s been going on with me?
.We close on our house on the 26th! I’d write more, but J is afraid I’ll jinx it. But we had it inspected this weekend and everything looks good. We both just love the house & can’t wait to move in. It will also be great to see all our stuff again – we haven’t seen our belongings since the movers packed them up in January. While it’s empowering to realize J & I are not so attached to our Things that we can’t live without them, it will be nice to have them back – it will have been almost 3 months! Movers come on the 27th.
.I spent a few days visiting Sophie in Texas (she’s STILL at my parents house as we moved on base and can’t have her here). She remembered me, thank goodness, and we had a great time together. I miss her like crazy and keep looking around for her. Seeing her with fresh eyes made me realize how very very OLD she is, and how slow she’s gotten, poor baby. In spite of the fact that my parents didn’t know they were signing up for 2 full months of Sophie-duty, they’ve been great about keeping her. But I think Mia has had enough – Sophie fell in their pool over the weekend and I have my suspicions that Mia may have pushed her. 
Thank goodness she’s coming up here on the 29th. Two months since we sent her off from Frankfurt.
