Tempest in a Teapot

So obviously, I had the big ultrasound yesterday. The main point of the u/s is of course to verify the health of the baby – make sure they have all their limbs, check heart, lungs, other organs for any defects, etc etc. Fortunately for us, our little one cooperated and she appears to be in perfect health. I did have the u/s later than most people, as we had pushed back the date so J could be there. That meant no confusion: the tech is 100% certain we’re having a girl!! J couldn’t be more delighted, but informs me he still intends to teach her to catch. Hopefully, that means she’ll inherit J’s hand/eye coordination instead of mine!

I’ve also had lots more trouble sleeping in recent days, so J helped me pick out a maternity pillow. It is a godsend! Seriously, even not pregnant, I think this pillow would ROCK. Of course, we may need to buy a bigger bed so me, J and the pillow can all fit, but so far we’re coping.
