Tempest in a Teapot

In his ongoing campaign for Husband of the Year (hint: he’s a shoo-in), J came home last night from work with a HUGE bunch of flowers and announced “happy date night!” It was super sweet of him, and the flowers are gorgeous…locally grown from a farmer’s stand (always sooooo much better than from a florist).

Then he took me out to one of my fave places – Olive Garden – and I just stuffed myself with all sorts of yummy goodness. I absolutely LOVE their bruschetta! It just never tastes the same at home for some reason. It was a really fun evening and I had a great time enjoying my husband’s company. It was nice to have one last relaxing date night before Baby M joins the family and our lives get turned upside down. I’m lucky to have J who understands me and is so supportive of my needs!
