update
The weather here has been glorious all week, and I think we have a few more days of it too. Yay! I’m enjoying the reprieve before the rainy season sets in. Unfortunately, I’m not actually getting out and doing much…but then I am 38 weeks pregnant and you wouldn’t believe how badly my back/hip/leg hurts. Walking up and down the stairs is a major ordeal. My doctor is a really nice lady, but when I complained at my last appointment, she basically said, well, nothing we can do but wait for you to have the baby. *sigh* So I’m waiting. (hurry up, baby m!)
And, of course, our good weather is in stark contrast to the disaster unfolding in the Gulf…to all of our friends/family down in Texas: you are in our thoughts with Hurricane Ike bearing down! Hopefully it won’t be as dire as the weathermen are prediciting (last I heard was certain death awaits anyone who stays). Stay safe & dry!
