5 months
Madeline turned 5 months old this past Sunday and is really excited about it – see?
It’s been a super fun month of new experiences – she discovered she! has! feet! She can *almost* get them in her mouth & its hilarious to watch her try. She rolls over both directions now easily (tummy to back/back to tummy)…she even scoots a bit to get toys & things that interest her. She can’t sit up on her own yet, but she’s trying. It’s cute. Oh, and she’s been enjoying her jumperoo, too. The only part I’m not enjoying too much? All the drool. It’s kinda icky, to be honest. Yuck.
Madeline has also discovered Sophie! She watches her and has even reached out to pet? grope? grab? Soph as she walks past. Sophie, needless to say, is not impressed. I imagine that will change once Madeline starts eating solids in the next few months.
I can’t wait to see what the next few months bring!

Every time I see a photo of her I want to squeal much like she is in this photo. Every. Time. She is too darn cute!!!
Good luck with teething. Oh yes. Good times. I promise you, you forget a lot of it by the time they are teenagers.
