Tempest in a Teapot

Wow, how is it already February? Wasn’t it just January 1st? Hmn. Well, not much going on here. J was gone for two weeks and I have to say, I am SO proud of myself for coping as well as I did with Madeline. It was my first time alone with her since her birth and frankly I think I did great. (/bragging) Of course the real test begins in another week or two when he heads out for the next seven months. Ugh. Just writing that is awful.

However, I’m really enjoying MOPS & the weekly playgroup I take Madeline to…all the women I have met are really great. I am slowly starting to fill my days! This morning I took her to baby story time at the libarary and it was really entertaining. We’ll definitely go back.

Madeline got her first runny nose this past weekend, but is doing much better now that we got a humidifer going in her room. She hasn’t acted sick at all and hasn’t run a fever either, so I’m assuming she’s ok right now.
