Happy Birthday to my one & only!
This picture is from October 2006 – we were on the train heading from Paris to Giverny or Chartres, I can’t remember which. Back when our lives were simple…or B.M. (before Madeline) sigh. Miss M has been…challenging, to say the least, the past couple of days. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but it feels like *everything* is a struggle.
Anyhow, we hope J has a wonderful birthday – I don’t think he’ll read this because the army thinks tempestinateapot.org is subversive or something & they’ve banned it. The army’s present to him? He gets to learn to drive an armored humvee! Actually, I think he’s pretty excited about that. Miss you SO much, honey.
