Happy Easter!
I was pretty mopey about not having any plans for Easter this year when my friend Mollie invited Madeline & I over to join her family for lunch. They were so warm & welcoming…Madeline & I felt right at home. The food was really good – the whole family are fabulous cooks! In addition to the wonderful ham Mollie made, her mom made the most incredibly decadent scalloped potatoes (with real cream, yum) and her sister, Megan, made a to-die-for quiche & strawberry pie!!!
To top everything off, the Easter bunny dropped off gifts for Madeline, too! How sweet was that?! I totally didn’t expect it and felt bad I hadn’t brought Hank anything. (I did bring his mommy & daddy a bottle of wine & some flowers, however.) The best part about Easter baskets for a 6 month old? She can’t eat the chocolate – hee!
