Technology & Stuff.
Man, technology is so cool. I think we get so used to it, we forget just how *neat* it is. Case in point: a few days ago J was able to pick out a new toy online for Madeline. Yesterday when it arrived, he was able to watch her playing with via Skype. All of this in spite of the fact that he is on the OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD. We miss him like crazy, but it is so great he can still feel part of our family life!
Had a really good weekend – mom & dad graciously gave up 4 days of their time to come out and help me childproof the house. Madeline is all over the place…and last night I actually found her standing up in her crib. (ACK. I am so not ready!) She’s much fun these days and I hope mom & dad enjoyed her as much as I do. Well, most days….it can be hard to “enjoy” her when she’s up at 5am or soemthing. heh. Anyhow, I owe them a huge thank you for all their help this weekend.
