1st Birthday Party
Madeline’s 1st Birthday party was last Sunday – thanks to everyone who came to help celebrate!
I did my best to make it as simple as possible: kept it short (2 hours), with nothing more structured than cake & presents. While there were a few meltdowns (hey, you put all those kids together in one room, it’s bound to happen, right?!), I think Madeline enjoyed herself. She was a little uncertain at first about all these people being in her house, but once she got cake, everything else worked itself out!
With some of our good friends – Molly & Hank, Kimberly & Ashlyn. I think several cameras were snapping at the same time as none of us are looking the same direction!
You also would not believe how many presents this kid got! In fact, they’re STILL coming. She got two in the mail yesterday. (thanks, Leia & Jim) I’ve put quite a few aside & haven’t even opened them. I’m saving them for when her daddy gets home – IN ONE WEEK!!!!
