He’s Back!
J arrived back safely yesterday. Yay! Half his unit, including the commander, turned out at the airport to meet him with us, which I thought was very nice. (It was great to have the help with his bags. hee!)
Madeline was a little nervous in the airport – it was noisy & crowded – but warmed up to her daddy in no time at all once we were home. She was showing him all her toys & making him read her books within the hour. It was wonderful to see them together! J just couldn’t stop smiling.
I’m so very happy to have my whole little family together again under one roof.

Oh Karen, I’m so happy for you all! Dev called me yesterday and told me he was finally back in your possession. Thank goodness!

A belated congratulations on having everyone home together, safe and sound. You all look so happy – it’s hard not to grin!
