Family Vacation
We’re just back from a week of family vacation over in Pacific Beach, Wa. The weather was wonderful – chilly, but clear & gorgeous. Madeline really liked the beach, J really liked the relaxing & I just liked having my family all together. (yes, even Sophie went with us)
The Navy cabins were quite nice & we had gorgeous views of the ocean & the sunset every evening. We hiked a bit in Olympic National Forest, walked on the beach & flew a kite. It was very low key & just what we needed.
Madeline never sleeps well away from home, and the first couple of nights were rough…but overall not too bad. She was so happy to be back in her own crib that she slept 13 hours straight last night. I had to go in around 8am this morning and check on her because I was worried!

That looks so wonderful
Sometime we’ll have to go to the place that Bret’s family has on the Oregon coast. It’s a long drive (we were there this weekend), but the kiddos would have so much fun. Hank has always hated the sand, but this weekend, he fell in love with dumping it over himself and even took a few tastes here and there-haha. Your pictures are beautiful – glad you guys had such a good time (and such good weather!).
