Tempest in a Teapot

Had Madeline’s 18 month check up today. She’s healthy & fit – her height/weight have really leveled off as far as percentages go. (25.3 pounds & 31.5″) Of course, she was a terror at the doctor’s office, but who can blame her? I hate shots, too! It was way more traumatic for me than her – the nurse gave her an Elmo sticker & she was just fine. I love the Normal Development sheets the doctor gives out at each visit, too. My favorite from this one? “Runs awkwardly and falls alot.” Bingo! That’s my kid.

She gets a kick out of the funniest things – one day she insisted I put a bunch of her clips in her hair. Kept bringing them over one at a time. This from the kid who will yank them out as fast as I put them in, usually! Then she ran around the rest of the afternoon like this.

Spent a chilly morning at the playground with her friend Ashlyn recently. Brr! We are really ready for some springtime weather….
