Tempest in a Teapot

It was a nice weekend – quiet, but good. Friday night I went to craft night with my ladies group – we get together up on base and use the Fellowship hall at the base (it has these great long tables) – and I didn’t get home until midnight! I was having such good time chatting & catching up with everyone.

Saturday, J & I went over to the Intratuin, a garden/home store, in Heerlen. We picked up a new plant for the porch, plus a really nice birdfeeder to hang in the tree out back. I love it! Since the weather was so nice, we went for a long walk. The good weather continued through Sunday, so we were able to walk again then too. Poor Sophie can’t come with us, since we go several miles and she’d never make it, but we enjoy the time together. We also spent some nice time outside at the neighborhood playground visiting with our good friends the Hofman’s while their kids played. We hadn’t seen them since we had been away, so we had a lot to catch up on!
