Tempest in a Teapot

Time kind of got away from me recently…here’s a recap…

Thanksgiving was a quiet affair at our house – just the three of us. It was SO nice, we really enjoyed ourselves. J & I got to watch the A&M game and chat on skype with our family. We set up the Christmas tree that weekend too. Madeline loves to turn on the lights.

The following Wednesday at play group Madeline got terribly sick – threw up EVERYWHERE. It was so upsetting, because she’s never been sick like that before. (and of course I didn’t want any of the other kids to get sick either!) At least we were at the hospital where the group meets and they were able to call environmenal services to clean it up. (I’ve decided I need a team like that for my house too!) Madeline actually recovered very quickly and seemed to have the mildest case, but J & I didn’t fare nearly as well. We both caught the bug & thought we were going to die. The only upside was I lost 7 pounds.

Now that we’re all recovered, we’ve been getting ready for Christmas now and it’s been such fun this year. Madeline has SO much personality and she’s so funny. J & I enjoy her so much. We can’t believe how different things are this year compared to last!
