Tempest in a Teapot

For any other parents out there, I want to recommend The Baby Book by Dr. Sears & co.

My friend Katrina sent us a copy as a gift awhile back and swore she couldn’t live without it. At first, I was skeptical as I had attempted to read a breastfeeding book by the same authors and couldn’t relate at all. But now that Madeline is here, I completely understand – this book is WONDERFUL. We actually have two copies and keep one upstairs and one down (it’s a BIG book) and I reference it all the time. It is a great resource for newbie parents like me. While I don’t agree with every parenting theory they suggest, the basic info about pooping, eating, nursing, sleeping, etc. sure comes in handy.
